Should I wash my hair before I have my scalp lightening?
Ideally, wash your hair a couple of days before your scalp bleach and avoid heavy styling products. Arriving with freshly washed hair can make your scalp a little more sensitive, which we want to avoid at your scalp lightening appointment.
Are prices on your website final?

The prices you see on our website are as accurate and transparent as we can make them, but no two heads of hair are exactly the same. Your final price depends on things like your length, thickness and the specific result you're after, so your stylist will confirm an exact quote with you at your consultation before anything begins. No surprises, just an honest number based on what your hair actually needs.

Does going blonde damage your hair?

Lightening does change the internal structure of the hair, which is why every blonde service at Stefan Hair is built around bond-building treatments and a gloss or toner to protect condition and shine. Our stylists assess your hair's health and history before every appointment, so you leave with blonde that looks as healthy as it does bright.

Do you use clean hair colour?

Yes, we only use clean colour formulas across all of our blonde services, so you get beautiful lift and tone without unnecessary harsh chemicals. It's part of why our blonde results are as kind to your hair and scalp as they are to your final result.

What's the difference between balayage, foils/highlights?

Balayage is hand-painted for soft, natural dimension, and foils (highlights) use foil sections throughout for a brighter, more uniform blonde. Which one suits you depends on your starting colour, hair length and how much maintenance you want, and we'll talk it through at your consultation.
