With proper care, skin-weft tape extensions typically last eight to twelve weeks between move-up appointments, when your stylist repositions the wefts closer to the scalp as your natural hair grows. The hair itself can be reused for several cycles, so a consistent maintenance routine gets you the best value over time.
We use ultra-thin, seamless skin-weft sections taped close to the scalp, sitting flat against your natural hair for a comfortable, virtually undetectable finish. They're one of the most popular extension methods for adding length, volume, or both, without the bulk of traditional weft techniques.
When applied and maintained correctly by a trained stylist, tape-in extensions are one of the gentler extension methods available. The key is professional application, the right placement for your hair density, and sticking to your recommended maintenance schedule so no tension is placed on fragile hair.
Use a sulphate-free shampoo and conditioner, brush from the ends up with an extension-friendly brush, and keep oils and heavy conditioner away from the tape bonds. We'll walk you through a full aftercare routine at your appointment, including how to sleep and style with extensions in.
